Bodhisattva Retreat

An immersion of service, stillness and soul in the land of Bodhgaya, India.

Step beyond the ordinary and into the heart of rural India - where simplicity meets soul and service becomes a path to inner awakening.

Our Bodhisattva Retreats invite you to walk gently, give generously and reconnect with what truly matters. Rooted in compassion, community and conscious travel, this is more than a retreat - it’s a remembrance of shared humanity.

A Journey of Compassion and Transformation

The Bodhisattva Retreat is a heartfelt invitation for individuals from around the world to awaken to their highest purpose through compassionate action. Inspired by the life and teachings of Dwarko Sundrani Ji, the last living disciple of Mahatma Gandhi, the retreat beautifully weaves together Gandhian wisdom with the enlightened path of the Buddha—in the very land where the Buddha attained enlightenment.

This is a place where philosophy becomes practice, where service becomes a spiritual path.

Discovering the Path of the Bodhisattva

At the core of the retreat is a deep journey—from the head to the heart. Through silence, reflection, and service, participants are guided to shed false identities, meet their inner challenges with compassion, and reconnect with their true essence.

There is no right or wrong way—only the deeply human way, grounded in truth, love, and interconnectedness. This path invites you to live your values, embody presence, and offer your gifts to a world in need.

A Sacred Setting in Bodhgaya

Held in the spiritual grounds of Bodhgaya, Bihar—the place of the Buddha's enlightenment—the retreat takes place in an environment that naturally invites transformation. Bihar, which translates to "the place one wanders to seek answers," becomes the perfect landscape for inner awakening and reflection.

From guided meditations to mindful community seva, every moment is an invitation to deepen your connection with yourself and the world around you.
